Information from our Facilitator
We received a book today from our facilitator with information about our future travels. The first line read, "As you begin your adventure which will change your lives forever, ....." Wow, what gripping words! Specifically, the part about "changing your life forever!" So I read on how God is in control and we are not. Some that travel think that they will adopt a toddler, but come home with a 7 year old. Others seek to adopt a girl and come home with a boy, instead. And still others actually want to adopt a sibling group and only come home with one. Then at the bottom of the page in big bold letters is the office motto.
"MAN PLANS AND GOD CHUCKLES"
Another parent that has adopted in the Ukraine over a year ago told me this.......You go thinking that you already know how to trust God. But when you go through this process you find out...."you will either REALLY learn to trust in God or you will totally lose your mind!" So that is where you come in....pray that we will be patient, strong and learn to trust in God more than yesterday, more than today and through each moment that God gives us going forward.
